Manhwa는 일반적으로 한국에서 제작된 만화를 의미하며, 웹툰은 온라인과 모바일 환경에 맞춰 제작된 디지털 만화 형식을 뜻합니다. 따라서 모든 웹툰이 Manhwa인 것은 아니며, 모든 Manhwa가 웹툰 형식인 것도 아닙니다.

만화 식자는 번역된 대사와 텍스트를 말풍선, 내레이션 박스, 효과음 등에 맞게 배치하는 작업입니다. 가독성과 원작의 디자인을 유지하면서 폰트, 크기, 줄바꿈, 위치 등을 조정하며, 필요한 경우 클린업이나 리드로우 작업도 함께 진행됩니다.

Quality assurance is integrated into every stage of our localization workflow rather than being treated as a single final review. After translation is completed, a separate Translation QA specialist reviews the work to verify accuracy, consistency, terminology, and natural readability. For new partnerships, we generally recommend starting with a smaller volume (typically around 500 pages per month for manga projects) to allow both teams to become familiar with each other's processes, communication style, and quality expectations. Turnaround times vary depending on the length, complexity, and scope of a project, but for most manga and webtoon chapters, our standard localization process takes approximately one week from start to finish. As a general guideline, translation can often be completed within four business days, followed by approximately three business days for typesetting.
